Growing up, Asa was immersed in the world of hunting alongside his grandfather. Their bond was strengthened by time spent in the field, training English pointers and raising quail. These moments shaped his appreciation for detail, patience, and craftsmanship—qualities that now define Pointer Painting.

Asa’s grandfather not only instilled a love for the outdoors but also taught the value of hard work. Whether it was carefully raising bobwhite quail or restoring old hunting cabins with fresh coats of paint, precision and dedication became second nature. Years later, these lessons guided Asa as he founded Pointer Painting, bringing the same level of care and attention to homes and businesses across Nashville.
